The Foundations of Risk course is run from the Department of Management Science. Part of Strathclyde Business School, the Department of Management Science is widely acknowledged as one of the leading Operational Research departments in Britain.
Its philosophy in both teaching and research is to combine intellectual rigour with a strong emphasis on practical applications.
It received a rating of ‘Excellent’ in the last Teaching Quality Assessment. The Management Science Department was singled out for particular praise for its innovative teaching.
